Heavy Duty Welding Reels Series TW7000 Plugs and Receptacles Offer Safety, Reliability MELTRIC Corporation (Franklin, WI) has released Hazardous-Rated Metal 60 Amp & 150 Amp plugs and receptacles for Division 2 / Zone 2 environments. DSN150/DS60 Division 2 / Zone 2 Series devices are designed and rated for use in hazardous environments where explosive gases are not likely to be present under normal conditions but may occur for short periods of time. These devices are ideal for locations such as refi neries, fuel or solvent storage areas, plastic extrusion where oil removal is part of the process, and paint storage areas, among others. Features include: • cCSAus rating, and all are horsepower rated and listed up to 75HP. The amperage, voltage, horsepower and environmental ratings are indicated on the product labels. You may also add up to six auxiliary pilot contacts for additional equipment monitor- ing capabilities. • A dead front on receptacles, which isolates the supply contacts and prevents user exposure to live parts. The receptacle's safety shutter blocks access to the contacts and can only be opened by DSN/DS plugs with compatible ratings and contact confi gurations. • A standard screw-type locking pawl on receptacles, which allows the user to lock the plug to the receptacle by tightening a screw on the pawl. For added security, a lockout hole is included on the receptacle that enables the user to insert a 5/16" lock or locking pin to prevent the plug from being discon- nected or to lock the receptacle lid closed. www.meltric. com; 414-433- 2700 Expanding Your Maintenance Data Connections Fluke (Everett, WA) recently un- veiled its 3500 FC Series Con- dition Monitoring System. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) system consists of wireless volt- age, temperature and remote power measurement sensors that share maintenance data collect- ed by handheld tools. A wireless gateway and cloud-based data network then work in conjunction with the Fluke Connect Software and mobile app to dis- seminate this maintenance data. The system encompasses: • Two-way communication using Fluke Connect Condition Monitoring software for receiving alarms through email or text message, and detecting fault development by tracking historical trends and current conditions. • Data logging and alarms that identify equipment health problems, along with the measurement history needed to correct them. • Remote monitoring and analysis tools that connect condition monitoring software with a computer or handheld device. • Simplifi ed installation using Fluke's iFlex tech- nology with current clamps and probes. • The Fluke Connect Condition Monitoring Software takes measurements as frequently as every second before sending this data to cloud-based storage where it can be viewed through a dashboard that encompasses a complete history of equipment performance, including measurements taken with Fluke wire- less handheld tools, as well as work orders. • The system is comprised of: the 3501 FC Gateway that streams measurement data from up to 10 unique 3500 Series sensors; the 3510 AC Voltage Sensor; the 3511 DC Voltage Sensor; the 3520 AC iFlex Sensor that can collect measurements in tight spaces; the 3521 DC 2000A Current Sensor; the 3530 K-Type Temperature Sensor; the 3540 Three-Phase Power Monitor for collecting current, frequen- cy, power, apparent power, non-active power, power factor, total harmonic distortion voltage, total harmonic distortion current and harmonic content current. www.fl uke.com/ConditionMonitoring; 800-443-5853
