BRECOfl ex Makes Commitment to Energy Conservation with Solar Installation BRECOfl ex CO., LLC has made a ma- jor commitment to conserve energy and reduce its carbon footprint. The company has recently completed a massive solar project by installing solar panels on the roof of its NJ headquarters and manufac- turing facility. This solar initiative is expected to re- duce emissions by more than 7,700 tons of CO2 over the guaranteed lifetime of the system and will offset electricity usage at system and will offset electricity usage at the facility by 78%. To put that in compa- rable terms, it is the equivalent of over 25,000,000 vehicle gasoline miles or 1,004 trips around the globe, or the equivalent of planting 132 acres of trees. In the fi rst month of usage alone, the solar panels generated more than 60000kWh of energy. In addition to cost savings in the long run, solar panels have a positive environ- mental impact. Solar energy does not produce air or water pollution and does not produce greenhouse gases. Furthermore, placing this solar fi eld on a very large roof area helps to protect wildlife and habitat. "As a progressive compa- ny, we are interested in whatever we can do to reduce pollution and help the environ- ment. Solar panels are a great way for us to do our part. Launching our solar system during a very sunny June has enabled us to be 100% self-suffi cient to-date self-suffi cient to-date and has even enabled us to give a sizable percentage back to the grid," says Bernie Fu- ellemann , President of BRECOfl ex CO., LLC.
