resins, compounds and fl uoroelastomers for pro-
tecting components and equipment used to keep

Fluoroelastomers include:
• Alternating copolymers of tetrafl uoroethylene
and propylene, creating unique properties
over conventional FKM-type fl uoroelastomers.
• Resistance to chemicals, heat and steam up
to 200° Celsius.
• Ideal for rotary shaft seals, compression packing, ANSI gaskets, fl exible diaphragm
seals, gaskets and O-rings.
• Fluon ETFE, PFA and PTFE Resins help maintain stable properties at extreme tempera-

and aging. Applications include valve, pump vessel and pipe linings, butterfl y disc and

Metabo (West Chester, PA) recently added a series of 6" grinders to its family of low-profi le,
fl at head angle grinders. They feature:
• A patented gear drive that allows for a low profi le head, enabling the grinder to fi t into
angles as low as 39˚ and narrow spaces as low as 2-5/8".
• Availability in three versions, one with a side locking switch (WEF15-150), a non-locking
paddle switch version (WEPF15-150) and a version with non-locking paddle switch
and mechanical brake (WEPFB15-150) that stops the grinding accessory in under 2
seconds.
• The motors have an increased power rating of 13.5 Amps (1,550 Watts) and, accord-
ing to Metabo, produce up to 50 percent more torque, 20 percent more output power
and up to 20 percent higher overload capacity.
• Electronics that provide speed stabilization and overload protection.
