Additional features include: • A push-button adjustable height platform that positions loads at a comfortable height to eliminate bending and stretching when loading, unloading or moving items. • A lightweight, durable aluminum frame with powder coat paint fi nish. • The ability to lift loads up to 200 lbs. and 37". • A lifting speed of four inches/second. • Two maintenance-free 12-volt rechargeable batteries. www.liftnbuddy.com; 701-499-5290 Low Profi le Gravity Rollers and Conveyor Mounts Creform Corporation (Greer, SC) has introduced a new low- profi le version of its wide Placon gravity rollers and conveyor mounts. The Low-Profi le Placon rollers, of which there are two types, are 80 percent of the height of the standard wide Placon conveyor. The rail base is 32 mm to the top of the roller compared to 40 mm for the standard variety. The new series helps minimize the vertical space needed for conveyors and can allow the user to fi t more lanes in a given height or to squeeze rollers into a tight space. The standard new system incorporates 18 mm dia. rollers with a 19 mm dia. center to center, and can be confi gured up to 3 meters long. Other roller spacing is available upon request. www.creform.com; 800-839-8823 Safety Glasses Designed for Women Gateway Safety (Cleveland, OH) has launched a family of safety glasses that are designed to appeal to women in style, and provide a better fi t than traditional options. Gateway Safety's GirlzGear collection includes several different styles of safety eyewear with features for the female worker: • Two styles – StarLite SM and Scorpion SM – are actually sized 10% smaller than their popular originals, making them ideal solutions for women with smaller profi les. • Metro safety glasses provide a full frame design, in four unique frame colors, to appeal to the trendy woman worker. • Parallax, the newest addition to the line, features patented temples that create exceptional comfort for long term wear, and is available in a clear lens or pink mirror lens. www.gatewaysafety.com; 800-822-5347 Redesigned Pneumatic Drive Provides 20,000 RPM With a redesigned pneumatic drive, the LRC 20 from Suhner (Rome, GA) now offers a set of hand tools that can grind, mill and polish places that previously could be accessed only with great diffi culty, for example, the leading edges and corners of impellers or the insides of narrow pipes. Features include: • 20,000 rpm for user handwork. • A slender and maneuverable design that fulfi ls safety, ergonomic and energy effi ciency requirements in industry. • Quiet operation – under full load, the sound pressure level is 69.5 dB. • A centrifugal governor that regulates the speed and saves an average of 20% of the compressed air needed for conventional air tool technologies. • Exhaust air that is directed backwards, protecting the work surface from lubricating oil and reducing noise levels even further. • Optional 13-mm (D) matching extensions, powered by a fl exible shaft, that can be attached to the machine for each application. • With a handle, the extension elements (125, 250, 500, 1,000 and 1,500 mm lengths) can be fi tted directly onto the LRC 20 drive unit. • Extension elements that can also be bent through 45° to reach the deep pockets and corners on workpieces. www.suhner.com; 706-235-8046
